Get paid when your tweets go viral.

When one of your tweets takes off, RentMyThread posts a sponsor's reply under it, with copy you approved in advance and clearly disclosed. You get paid for every view the reply gets. No pitching, no posting, no invoices.

What would your last viral tweet have paid?

Paid to you
$144

An estimate: it assumes the sponsored reply is seen by about 3% of the tweet's viewers at a typical sponsor rate. What you're actually paid depends on the sponsor and the reply's real views.

Your best tweets earn you almost nothing

You did the hard part: you wrote something people want to read. Then:

Viral moments don't pay
A tweet with a million views brings followers and, at best, a small revenue-share payout weeks later. The attention is gone by the next day.
Sponsorships are a second job
Finding brands, agreeing a rate, writing the post, invoicing and chasing payment, for a post that goes up on a schedule, not when you're hot.
Plugging your own stuff gets old
Replying with your newsletter link under every hit feels spammy, and your followers learn to skip it.

Turn the attention you already earned into income

RentMyThread works in the background. You decide who can appear on your account; we handle the timing, posting, measuring and paying.

Paid at your peak
A sponsor reply goes up minutes after a tweet starts outperforming your usual reach, while the thread is busy.
80% to you
You keep 80% of everything a sponsor pays for your reply. We keep 20% to run the platform.
Zero admin
No negotiating, no invoices. Earnings add up on your dashboard and go to your bank through Stripe.

How it works

  1. 1
    Sign in with X
Create your creator account. We review every creator by hand.
  2. 2
    Approve sponsors
Sponsors invite you to their campaigns. You see the exact reply and what it pays, and approve only the ones you'd recommend.
  3. 3
    We watch your tweets
When one takes off compared with your usual reach, the best-paying sponsor you approved gets the reply slot.
  4. 4
    Get paid
The reply goes up from your account, disclosed with #ad and X's Paid Partnership label. You earn on its views, paid out once you reach $10.

You stay in control

It's your account and your audience. Nothing posts from a sponsor you haven't approved, by hand or with auto-accept.

Approve every sponsor
See each brand's copy and what it pays first, and decline anything that doesn't fit. Or turn on auto-accept and let sponsors who meet your price join on their own.
Confirm each reply
Prefer a final say? Switch on confirmation and approve each reply before it posts.
Set your minimum
Choose the lowest rate you'll accept. Sponsors paying less never reach you.
Limits and quiet hours
Cap replies per day (2 by default), pause overnight, block topics, or pause everything.

If you're building onboarding flows, Acme generates and A/B tests them for you. Free tier at acme.dev #ad

Paid partnership
An example. The creator approved Acme's copy in advance; the reply is posted from the creator's account when the tweet takes off, with #ad and X's Paid Partnership label.

Good for your audience too

Always disclosed
Every sponsored reply carries a disclosure hashtag (#ad unless the copy already has one) and X's Paid Partnership label. Your followers always know.
One at a time
At most one sponsored reply under a tweet, and only from brands you chose.
Never permanent
A sponsored reply comes down when its sponsorship ends, at most 7 days after it starts, unless the sponsor renews.

Questions creators ask

+How much can I earn?
As a rough guide, a tweet with 500,000 views would pay you about $144, and one with 1 million about $288. It depends on the sponsor and on how many people see the reply.
+Do I need a big following?
No. There's no follower minimum: a tweet qualifies when it takes off compared with your own usual reach. Sponsors look for audiences that fit their product.
+Who writes the reply?
The sponsor writes it, and you approve it word for word before it can ever post.
+Can I delete a sponsored reply?
Yes, any time. If you delete it within 24 hours of it going up, the sponsor isn't charged and you aren't paid for it; after that, you're paid for the views it got.
+When do I get paid?
Earnings are added when each placement ends. Once you've earned $10 and connected a payout account through Stripe, we send it automatically, and Stripe pays it into your bank.
+What access do you need on X?
Permission to read your tweets and to post and delete the sponsored replies you approved. We never see your password or your DMs, and you can revoke access in X's settings.
