For brands and founders

Put your product under tweets that are already going viral.

When a creator's tweet takes off, RentMyThread posts your message as their reply, right under it, from their own account and clearly disclosed. You pay per 1,000 views your reply actually gets, never more than the cap you set.

By continuing you agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy.

If you're building onboarding flows, Acme generates and A/B tests them for you. Free tier at acme.dev #ad

Paid partnership
An example. The creator approved Acme's copy in advance; the reply is posted from the creator's account when the tweet takes off, with #ad and X's Paid Partnership label.
$8+ CPM
Creators' default minimum rate per 1,000 views. You set your bid.
Per view
Billed pro rata for each view of your reply, to the cent, never above your cap.
$50
Minimum to start. Unused balance is refundable, minus card fees.
7 days
Longest a placement runs. You pay only for the views it got.

Paying for attention is broken

Most ways to reach people on X make you pay up front and hope.

Ads get scrolled past
Promoted posts look like ads, sit between tweets nobody asked for, and people have learned to skip them.
Influencer deals are a gamble
You find a creator, negotiate, pay a flat fee and wait for a post that may land on a quiet day. Most posts don't go viral, and you pay either way.
Flat fees hide the results
A newsletter slot or sponsored post costs the same whether 500 or 50,000 people see it. You find out after you've paid.

Show up where the attention already is

RentMyThread only spends your money on tweets that are already taking off, and only for views that actually happen.

Peak attention, not a guess
Your reply goes up minutes after a tweet starts outperforming the creator's usual reach, while people are still reading the thread.
In the creator's voice
The reply comes from the creator's own account, with copy they approved. It reads like a recommendation, not a banner.
Pay for real views
You're billed per 1,000 views of your reply, measured by X's own counts. A flop costs you little or nothing.
You pick the audience
Choose the topics your reply goes under and invite the creators whose followers are your customers. We suggest the best fits.
Start small
Add $50, run a test, and see the views and cost of every placement on your dashboard. Unused balance is refundable.
Brand-safe by default
Every tweet gets a brand-safety check before your reply goes under it, and you can rule out topics you never want to appear next to.

How it works

  1. 1
    Sign in with X
Create your sponsor account. We review every sponsor by hand before you can add funds.
  2. 2
    Create a campaign
Add at least $50, write your reply (we add #ad if it has no disclosure), set your bid per 1,000 views and your cap per placement.
  3. 3
    Invite suggested creators
We suggest creators whose tweets match your topics, with their expected views and cost. Invite the top 10 in one click; each approves your campaign, or accepts it automatically.
  4. 4
    Your reply goes up
When one of their tweets takes off, your reply is posted under it. You pay for the views it gets, up to your cap.

Simple, capped pricing

Each placement buys a block of reply views: your cap divided by your CPM. You pay for the views delivered, and never more than the cap.

What does a placement cost?

2,083views of your reply, at most $25. Fewer views delivered means you pay less; never more than your cap.
  • $50 minimum to start. You prepay a balance by card through Stripe; placements draw on it.
  • Unused balance is refundable on request, minus the card fees.
  • Keep your spot. When a placement's views run out, the slot goes to the highest bid. With "keep my reply up" on, you keep it by matching that bid, so your reply stays up and keeps counting.
  • No charge for a quick delete. If the creator deletes your reply within 24 hours, you aren't charged for it.
  • Up to 7 days per placement. A slower tweet bills only the views your reply got, and then the reply comes down.

What your budget buys

Each placement buys a block of reply views. You choose the rate and the cap.

1,000,00030,000$450
5,000,000150,000$2,250

Our planning estimate: a sponsored reply is seen by about 3% of the tweet's viewers. Big tweets use up a block fast; turn on "keep my reply up" to stay in the slot.

Questions sponsors ask

+How is this different from X Ads?
X Ads put a promoted post in the timeline. RentMyThread puts your message in the conversation people are already reading, under a tweet that's proven to be taking off, from a creator they follow. And you only pay for views your reply gets.
+What counts as a view?
The impression count X reports for your reply. You pay your CPM pro rata for each view, rounded down to the cent, up to your cap.
+Can I choose the creators?
Yes. Each campaign suggests creators ranked by how much they tweet about your topics and the views a reply would get, or you can browse and invite anyone. Each creator approves your campaign (by hand, or with auto-accept) before any reply posts on their account.
+Who writes the reply?
You do. Creators approve it as is. Every reply carries a disclosure hashtag (we add #ad unless your copy already has #ad, #sponsored or #paidpartnership) and X's Paid Partnership label, so it's clear it's sponsored.
+What if the tweet is about something I don't want to be near?
Every tweet is checked for brand safety before a reply goes up. Tweets about tragedy, violence, sexual content or hate never get a sponsored reply, and you can also rule out politics, health crises, controversy or profanity.
+Can I get my money back?
Yes: unused balance is refundable on request, minus card processing fees. Money already charged for delivered views isn't.
